High heating bills the next crisis, thanks to Peter DeFazio and Kurt Schrader

November 8, 2021

The New York Times is out with an alarming report about how high winter heating bills are the next big economic crisis after inflation.

The report writes, “…Energy bills could rise 15 percent for households heated by electricity, 50 percent for those depending on natural gas and 59 percent for those that mostly use heating oil.”

Now, Joe Biden is considering shutting down a Michigan pipeline on top of canceling the Keystone XL Pipeline, halting oil and gas leases on federal lands and taxing natural gas.

What are Peter DeFazio and Kurt Schrader doing for Oregonians to stop Biden’s war on energy? NOTHING.

NRCC Comment: “Peter DeFazio, Kurt Schrader and the Democrats are to blame when Oregonians’ heating bills skyrocket this winter.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Courtney Parella
