Biden Admin: No coal by 2030

November 9, 2021

During an interview, John Kerry, the Biden Administration’s special envoy for climate said, “By 2030 in the United States, we won’t have coal…we will not have coal plants.”

Pennsylvania is the fourth largest coal-producing state. The industry generates almost 12,000 jobs and mining accounts for nearly $7 billion in economic activity in the state.

Will Matt Cartwright, Chrissy Houlahan, Madeleine Dean, and Susan Wild speak out against Biden’s War on Coal?

NRCC Comment: “Pennsylvania Democrats need to decide if they want to stand by Joe Biden and his plan to ruin the lives of coal miners or if they want to stand up for the hard-working coal miners in Pennsylvania.” –NRCC Spokeswoman Camille Gallo
