Axne does a 180 on inflation

Punchbowl reports Cindy Axne is now pretending to take inflation seriously by writing a letter to party leaders asking them to pass a meaningless messaging bill she introduced.

This about-face comes after Axne spent months claiming inflation was not real and that any concerns about it stemmed from false advertisements.  

One thing Axne doesn’t acknowledge in her meaningless letter: she is responsible for the inflation crisis.

Cindy Axne voted for the American Rescue Plan, which Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco says is stoking inflation.  

And she voted for Build Back Better, a bill that even Democrats acknowledge will exacerbate “inflationary pressures.”
