The Democrat incumbents facing off in Illinois’ 6th Congressional District are both buried in scandal.
A new FEC complaint alleges that Sean Casten’s father illegally coordinated with his son’s Super PAC to help get him elected in 2018.
And Marie Newman is facing an ethics complaint claiming she illegally promised a congressional job to a political opponent before her 2020 election.
