“High inflation is a staple of life in the United States today,” according to a new study from the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee.

In the West North Central Region:

Inflation is costing $396 monthly per household
Housing is up 4%
Food is up 7%
Energy is up 27%
Transportation is up 24%
