JOINT ECONOMIC COMMITTEE REPORT: “High inflation a staple of life in US today”

“High inflation is a staple of life in the United States today,” according to a new study from the United States Congress Joint Economic Committee.

In the New England Region: 

• Inflation is costing $377 monthly per household
• Housing is up 3%
• Food is up 4%
• Energy is up 31%
• Transportation is up 21%
