NEW RECORD HIGH: CA gas prices hit an average $6 a gallon
May 17, 2022
California is still home to the highest average gas prices in the United States, according to AAA.
Prices hit a new average record high of $6.02 a gallon today, and they’re set to go even higher on July 1st when California’s gas tax increases again.
And the reason prices are so high in California isn’t a mystery. “It’s the direct result of progressive policies,” reports the Wall Street Journal.
