Mathis claims Biden’s reckless spending reduced inflation

This weekend Liz Mathis joined The Steele Report and bizarrely claimed Biden’s American Rescue Plan (ARPA) brought down costs for Iowans.

Mathis: “We can also talk about, in terms of inflation how we’re going to reduce household expenses. And we’ve seen how ARPA has decreased the cost of childcare and also for housing. And so we’re working on it. Every little bit helps.”

FACT CHECK:

• Just about every economist agrees the American Rescue Plan is driving inflation.
• Housing prices are at record highs.
• Child care costs, including nannies, babysitters, and child care centers, are rising.
