NY Dems try to distance themselves from Hochul

Despite accepting her endorsement, New York Democrats in tough races are trying to pretend they haven’t embraced Kathy Hochul, the New York Post reports.

Bridget Fleming, Robert Zimmerman, Laura Gillen, and Francis Conole have realized Hochul is an anchor dragging them down, each leaving Hochul’s endorsement off their websites.

That hasn’t stopped them from campaigning with Hochul, voicing support for her, voting for her, or even scrambling to add her name to their website after being called out.
