House Dem on Biden: “speak your truth and not hide it”

POLITICO is out with an expose quoting numerous senior elected Democrats who are wringing their hands over President Biden’s hopes for a 2nd term. 

This begs the question: Do all House Dems feel this way?

Some notable quotes:

• “Considering his age it’s absurd we’re not promoting competition but trying to extinguish it.”
• “There was the senator who said few Democrats in the chamber want Biden to run again… get him off the ‘narcotic’ of the office.”
• A “Democratic lawmaker who recalled speaking to Jill Biden and, hoping to plant a seed about a one-term declaration of victory… When I asked if I could use any of that on the record, the lawmaker shot back: ‘absolutely not.'”

Too bad there is not room here for the quotes bemoaning Kamala Harris…

NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: “Senior Democrats get it. The American people get it. Joe Biden’s presidency is a disaster for the country, and it’s time for every House Democrat to make their position known on Biden running for their party’s nomination unopposed.”
