Vasquez stays silent on gas prices

April 4, 2023

In case you missed it, the average gasoline price in New Mexico went up 10 cents a gallon during the past week and it’s expected to continue to increase through the spring.

Energy prices have skyrocketed 42 percent since Joe Biden took office and gas prices have surged 52 percent.

And yet, just last week, Gabe Vasquez sided with the extreme left and voted against HR 1, legislation to reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil and lower energy costs.

“Gabe Vasquez clearly has no regard for the impact of high gas prices on hardworking New Mexicans. He voted against American-made energy and voters will reject his extreme policies in 2024.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
