Pro Crime Pat?

In case you missed it…Democrat Freshman Assemblywoman Sarahana Shrestha criticized Governor Hochul for her recent bail rollback proposal. 

Hochul’s proposal would roll back the “least restrictive” standard that judges currently must adhere to when determining bail for defendants. She cites increased crime as a motivating factor. 

Yet, Sarahana Shrestha says this is nothing more than “a continuation of right-wing fear-mongering without substance.”

The question remains, does Rep. Pat Ryan agree with Sarahana or Kathy?

As a candidate, Ryan campaigned with Kathy Hochul who, at the time, was a defender of cashless bail. His pro-criminal stances don’t stop there, however. In 2022, he gladly accepted the endorsement from prominent defund-the-police group NARAL’s PAC.
