Hayes’s “Crazy” Voting Record
In the words of Democrat Matthew Ritter (Speaker of the CT House) not voting for last week’s debt ceiling bill was “a crazy vote.”
That’s the same “crazy” vote that Jahana Hayes took. This isn’t the first “crazy” vote by Hayes either – she has a long history of voting with the extreme fringes of her party, including (but nowhere limited to):
- Voting against the HALT fentanyl act
- Voting against police officers and for reduced penalties for violent criminals
- Supporting Bernie Sanders’s Medicare For All plan
“Jahana Hayes’s ‘no’ vote on the debt ceiling was ‘crazy,’ just like the rest of her extreme positions that put criminals above Connecticut families and government bureaucrats between patients and doctors.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Savannah Viar
