USA Today: IA Dems’ last gasp

Iowa Democrats are begging and pleading with the national party — saying they know the state is no longer competitive but demanding cash.

Why? To fuel a long shot hope at competing in IA-03 where they still are unable to field a candidate to go against Zach Nunn.

The DNC’s response? Pound sand.

NRCC National Press Secretary Will Reinert said: “The DNC and the NRCC are on the same page. No one will defeat Zach Nunn.”
