NRCC Chairman Hudson Congratulates Speaker Mike Johnson

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Richard Hudson (R-NC) released the following statement congratulating Mike Johnson (R-LA) for being elected Speaker of the House of Representatives:
 

“It’s time to get back to work. Under Democratic leadership, American families are suffering; they cannot afford to have the Republican House majority on the sidelines any longer. I am proud to support Mike Johnson because he is a leader, a reconciler, and a uniter who is the right man to bring House Republicans together. He is a sharp legal mind and a constitutional scholar. I know Mike cares deeply about our Conference, understands our majority is the last line of defense against the Democrats, and will work relentlessly with us at the NRCC to go on offense.
