Without Spanberger, VA-07 moves in favor of GOP

Following Abigail Spanberger’s announcement this morning that she will forgo re-election, Cook Political is moving VA-07’s rating toward Republicans.

This district is trending toward Republicans, with Cook Political noting in the 2023 Virginia legislative elections, Republicans “carried every seat that voted for President Biden by less than nine points in 2020.”
