REPORT: Vicente Gonzalez puts smugglers before CBP

In case you missed it, earlier this week Vicente Gonzalez voted against a bipartisan bill to hold responsible illegal immigrants and smugglers who engage in high-speed car chases with Border Patrol.

These dangerous high-speed chases aren’t unusual along the border in South Texas. Recently a 15-year-old smuggler (with five illegal immigrants in the back of the car) led Border Patrol on a 150 mph chase in South Texas, putting everyone’s — including bystanders driving on the road — lives at risk.
