UNHINGED: Will Violent Vargas apologize for assaulting cab driver?
In a scathing previously-unreported story of a physical dispute between Tony Vargas and an Omaha cab driver, Vargas is accused of assault.
The Fox News report says Vargas “jumped from the back seat of the van into the front seat” and his “left leg hit [the driver] in the head” and “grabbed him by the shirt collar.”
This isn’t the first time Vargas has resorted to violence: In 2020, Vargas joined a violent mob in Omaha that vandalized businesses and attacked police officers. After the riots, Vargas denounced law enforcement’s response and accused police of “violence” against the rioters.
“Tony Vargas is clearly an angry individual who resorts to violence when things don’t go his way — that’s not how adults handle conflict. Violent Vargas needs to apologize to Nebraskans for misleading them about who he truly is.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Delanie Bomar
