Yesterday, President Trump endorsed Representative Gabe Evans for re-election.

President Trump’s endorsement follows Evans’ work to secure the border, lower taxes, and cut costs for Coloradans along with his record breaking Q1 fundraising haul.

President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed U.S. Rep. Gabe Evans, the first-term Republican in Colorado’s most competitive congressional seat.

“Congressman Gabe Evans is an America First Patriot who is doing a fantastic job representing Colorado’s 8th Congressional District!” Trump said in a post on the Truth Social site.

“A decorated Army Helicopter Pilot and former Police Officer, Gabe has served our Nation with Great Honor and Distinction. In Congress, he is fighting to Secure the Border, Champion American Energy, Defend the Second Amendment, and Support our Brave Military, Veterans, and Law Enforcement.”

Added Trump: “Gabe Evans has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!”

Evans welcomed Trump’s endorsement in a post on social media.

“Thank you Mr. President!” Evans said on X. “I am dialed in on making sure our community is free of criminal illegal immigrant gangs and making Colorado a safer place to live, work, and raise a family. Proud to be fighting for #CO08 in Congress.”

A spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee applauded Trump’s endorsement in a release.

“President Trump’s powerful endorsement adds to Representative Gabe Evans’s growing momentum for 2026,” said Zach Bannon in a statement. “Representative Evans has been hard at work, delivering a secure border, safer streets, and lower costs for Coloradans — and he’s not letting up.”
