ICYMI: Jared Golden voted AGAINST cutting wasteful spending
Recently, out of touch Democrat Jared Golden voted to continue sending taxpayer money toward wasteful government programs, and everyone’s talking about it.

And it’s not hard to understand why. Golden voted to continue funding wasteful programs like:
- $1 million for voter ID… in Haiti
- $6 million for “Net Zero Cities”… in Mexico
- $3 million for Iraqi Sesame Street
- $2.1 million for “climate resilience” in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and East Africa
- $500,000 for electric buses in Rwanda
- $33,000 for “Being LGBTI in the Caribbean”
- $643,000 for LGBTQI+ programs in the Western Balkans
- $ 567,000 for LGBTQI+ programs in Uganda
- $3 million for circumcision, vasectomies, and condoms in Zambia
- $5.1 million to strengthen the “resilience of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer global movements”
- $135 million in contributions to the World Health Organization (WHO)
Sadly, we shouldn’t be surprised. After all, Golden has votedrepeatedly against cutting taxes and costs on hardworking Maine families.
“Instead of voting to cut taxes and costs, out of touch Democrat Jared Golden yet again voted for wasteful government boondoggles at the expense of Mainers. Enough is enough, and voters will send Golden packing next year.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
