House Republicans steamroll vulnerable Dems in the money race

July 16, 2025

For the second quarter in a row, swing-district Republicans are DOMINATING vulnerable House Democrats in fundraising, and it’s not even close. The averages are stunning:

Swing-District Republicans:

RAISED: $1.1 million
CASH ON HAND: $1.9 million

Vulnerable House Democrats:

RAISED: $661,000
CASH ON HAND: $1 million

With all swing-district Republicans and vulnerable House Democrats accounted for, on average, Republicans have outraised Democrats by over $400,000 and have more money in the bank by over $848,000.

This marks yet another quarter of growing momentum for House Republicans, who continue to crush Democrats in the money race.

“House Republicans are steamrolling vulnerable Democrats in the money race, and it’s not even close. While Republicans build a war chest to grow the majority, Democrats are leaderless, divided, and banished to the wilderness – and now their donors are closing their checkbooks.” — NRCC Spokesman Mike Marinella
