Nellie Pou Voted Against Saving Rural Hospitals

July 28, 2025

Out of touch Democrat Nellie Pou voted against a once-in-a-generation investment to save rural healthcare. Rural hospitals are collapsing under the weight of decades of failed policy and the One Big Beautiful Bill finally puts rural America first by delivering $50 billion in new funding for rural hospitals through the Rural Health Transformation Program.

But radical Nellie Pou voted against:

  • Keeping rural hospitals open.
  • Improving health outcomes for families in underserved areas.
  • Ensuring doctors and nurses stay in the communities that rely on them.

“Radical Democrat Nellie Pou has made her priorities clear: ideology over outcomes, and politics over New Jerseyans. While President Trump and Republicans are working to restore and revitalize rural America, Pou is turning her back on New Jerseyans. Rural America deserves better.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
