Raul Ruiz Voted Against Saving Rural Hospitals

July 28, 2025

Out of touch Democrat Raul Ruiz voted against a once-in-a-generation investment to save rural healthcare. Rural hospitals are collapsing under the weight of decades of failed policy and the One Big Beautiful Bill finally puts rural America first by delivering $50 billion in new funding for rural hospitals through the Rural Health Transformation Program.

But radical Raul Ruiz voted against:

  • Keeping rural hospitals open.
  • Improving health outcomes for families in underserved areas.
  • Ensuring doctors and nurses stay in the communities that rely on them.

“Radical Democrat Raul Ruiz has made his priorities clear: ideology over outcomes, and politics over Californians. While President Trump and Republicans are working to restore and revitalize rural America, Ruiz is turning his back on Californians. Rural America deserves better. ” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
