Henry Cuellar Voted Against Saving Rural Hospitals

July 29, 2025

Out of touch Democrat Henry Cuellarvoted against a once-in-a-generation investment to save rural healthcare. Rural hospitals are collapsing under the weight of decades of failed policy and the One Big Beautiful Bill finally puts rural America first by delivering $50 billion in new funding for rural hospitals through the Rural Health Transformation Program.

But radical Henry Cuellar voted against:

  • Keeping rural hospitals open.
  • Improving health outcomes for families in underserved areas.
  • Ensuring doctors and nurses stay in the communities that rely on them.

“Radical Democrat Henry Cuellar has made his priorities clear: ideology over outcomes, and politics over Texans. While President Trump and Republicans are working to restore and revitalize rural America, Cuellar is turning his back on Texans. Rural America deserves better. ” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon
