An East Coast Elitist’s “Winning Message” in Iowa

President Trump carried Iowa’s First Congressional District by more than 8 points last year, giving him a clear mandate from Iowans. But out of touch Democrat Taylor Wettach is running on one message: his own refusal to work with President Trump or support the policies Iowans overwhelmingly voted for.

According to a new report, Wettach quit his job at a high-powered New York City law firm with out a plan, unless you consider a “long-shot run for Congress” as a strategy. It’s the kind of reckless, entitled move you’d expect from a pampered East Coast elitist who thinks he’s too good for the people he wants to represent.
