Awkward! Josh Riley calls out Tom Suozzi for “self-dealing in Congress”
Josh Riley is making things awkward, as he called out his fellow Democrat two-faced Tom Suozzi for trading stocks, accusing Suozzi of “self-dealing in Congress.”
In an effort to stop Suozzi’s “self-dealing,” Riley introduced a bill to prohibit Members of Congress and their families from owning or trading individual stocks or using any non-public information for their personal gain.
But bills like this one haven’t been known to deter Tom Suozzi, who has time and again (and again and again) violated the STOCK Act for failing to disclose trades on time and even failing to report them at all.
“Two-faced Tom Suozzi is in Congress to serve himself, and himself only. It’s so blatantly obvious, even his own fellow Democrats are calling him out for it. Suozzi has no interest in delivering for Long Island families, and they’ll send him packing because of it next fall.” — NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
