Marcy Kaptur’s Routine: Tax Hikes, Naps, and Political Gymnastics
In a stunning display of political gymnastics from the same out of touch Democrat who was caught snoring on the House floor, 42-year politician Marcy Kaptur (D-Virginia) managed to wake up just long enough to vote for a 25% tax hike, vote AGAINST no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and tax cuts on social security.
Then, without a hint of irony, Kaptur actually said: “America can and must do better for our people. Tipped workers, overtime workers and seniors who work deserve better.”
Reminder: Out of touch Democrat Marcy Kaptur who has admitted that she has “failed and failed and failed and failed” the people of Ohio voted to:
- Raise taxes by 22% – the highest tax hike in American history
- Kill 7 million jobs
- Slash the child tax credit in half
This is a pattern for Marcy Kaptur, who has voted REPEATEDLY to make life more expensive and less safe for Ohio families.
