Cognetti’s Handpicked Appointee Causes Citywide Lockdown

Paige Cognetti’s handpicked appointee to Scranton’s Human Relations Commission was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, harassment, and criminal trespassing this weekend after he caused a citywide lockdown. Michael Villa had also reportedly made concerning comments about Charlie Kirk’s murder, going as far as saying “it’s our time to rise.”

Last week, Cognetti appeared on MSNBC days after the network had to apologize for comments made by one of their analysts about Kirk’s assassination.
