BYNUM SELLS OUT OREGON: Jeopardized Veterans, Workers & Kids

Last week, out of touch Democrat Janelle Bynum voted to shut down the government and sell out Oregonians.

Her reckless vote could put Oregonians directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 39,881 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing 4,624 federal workers in OR-05 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 417,747 small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 13,711 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 3,074 children in Oregon. 

Bottom line: Janelle Bynum put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Oregonians.
