DOUBLE DISGRACE: Tran & Min Refused to Stand Up, Left Californians Behind
Last week, out of touch Democrats Derek Tran and Dave Min voted to shut down the government and sell out Californians.
Their reckless vote could put Californians directly in harm’s way:
- Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
- Blocking 39,108 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
- Forcing 9,446 federal workers in CA-45 & CA-47 to work without pay.
- Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.3 million small businesses.
- Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 90 farmers.
- Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 44,106 children in California.
Bottom line: Derek Tran and Dave Min put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Californians.
“Instead of standing for Californians out of touch Democrats Derek Tran and Dave Min voted to bring the government to a grinding halt, holding Californians hostage. Californians won’t forgive this betrayal.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
