Frank Mrvan’s Meltdown: Bows to Left and Threatens Indiana Families
Last week, out of touch Democrat Frank Mrvan voted to shut down the government and sell out Indianans.
His reckless vote could put Indianans directly in harm’s way:
- Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
- Blocking 33,226 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
- Forcing 5,123 federal workers in IN-01 to work without pay.
- Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 591,671 small businesses.
- Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 1,853 farmers.
- Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 8,070 children in Indiana.
Bottom line: Frank Mrvan put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Indianans.
“Instead of standing for Indianans, out of touch Democrat Frank Mrvan voted to bring the government to a grinding halt, holding Indianans hostage. Indianans won’t forgive this betrayal.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Bannon
