LAURA’S LETHAL AGENDA: Gillen Jeopardizes New Yorkers’ Safety and Livelihoods.

Last week, out of touch Democrat Laura Gillen voted to shut down the government and sell out New Yorkers.

Her reckless vote could put New Yorkers directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 16,643 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing  6,778 federal workers in NY-04 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 2.4 million small businesses.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 36,785 children in New York. 

Bottom line: Laura Gillen put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday New Yorkers.
