LEVIN LETS YOU DOWN: Shutdown Vote Jeopardizes Veterans & Kids

Last week, out of touch Democrat Mike Levin voted to shut down the government and sell out Californians.

His reckless vote could put Californians directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 35,509 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing 9,156 federal workers in CA-49 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 4.3 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for 1,223 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 44,106 children in California. 

Bottom line: Mike Levin put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Californians.
