Radical Julie Johnson Votes to Take Troops’ Paychecks

Last week, out of touch Democrat Julie Johnson voted to shut down the government and sell out Texans.

Her reckless vote could put Texans directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers potentially being forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 17,775 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing  5,589 federal workers in TX-32 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for Texas’ 3.5 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for TX-32 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 47,286 children in Texas. 

Bottom line: Johnson put a partisan stunt ahead of the livelihoods of everyday Texans.
