REMINDER: Don Davis Voted Against Critical North Carolina Hurricane Relief
Last year, Hurricane Helene devastated communities in Western North Carolina. A year later, communities are just starting to rebuild, which is why Governor Josh Stein just requested an additional $13.5 billion in federal hurricane relief.
North Carolinians on both sides of the aisle agree on the need for ongoing relief funding… except for out of touch Democrat Don Davis, who just voted to shut down the government and prevent delivery of critical federal assistance to communities in need.
“Out of touch Democrat Don Davis can’t bring himself to go against his party’s radical base, even if it means harming North Carolinians in need. The Old North State deserves better representation in Washington.” – NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson
