Lying Democrat Laura Gillen is desperately trying to pass the blame on the looming government shutdown that SHE voted for.

The truth is, Gillen’s vote may have put New Yorkers directly in harm’s way:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 16,643 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing  6,778 federal workers in NY-04 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 2.4 million small businesses.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 36,785 children in New York.
