Mike Lawler Puts New York First While Dems Prioritize a Dangerous Shutdown

Mike Lawler voted to keep the government open, and now, he’s vowed to forgo his congressional salary if Democrats shut down the government, because for Lawler, it’s about putting New York first, not politics.

If Democrats get their way, New York families’ safety will be threatened as law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay, veterans may lose access to critical programs, and Head Start funding may be endangered for thousands of kids across the state.
