SOTO’S SHUTDOWN SHAME: Darren Put Politics Over People

Government funding runs out today, and it’s all Darren Soto’s fault. Out of touch obstructionist Soto put politics over people and voted against legislation to keep the government open. 

Darren Soto’s reckless stunt forces Floridians to face unnecessary uncertainty. A shutdown jeopardizes paychecks for service members, law enforcement, TSA agents, and more. It delays assistance for small businesses, cuts off funding for Head Start, and puts veterans’ services at risk. All because Darren Soto would rather play games than do his job.
