Golden’s Party Voted to Shut Down the Government & Now Maine Families Could Go Hungry

Out of touch Democrat Jared Golden’s Democrat Party shut down the government, turning their back on moms, dads, and Mainers trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, Democrats jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for Mainers to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 190,947 Mainers could be going hungry because of Jared Golden’s Democrat’s shutdown.
