McDonald Rivet’s Shutdown = Empty Plates for Michigan Families

Out of touch Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet shut down the government, turning her back on moms, dads, and Michiganders trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, McDonald Rivet jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for Michiganders to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 1,474,400 Michiganders could be going hungry because of Kristen McDonald Rivet’s vote.
