Nervous Nellie Thinks She Can Lie Her Way Out of It

Out of touch Democrat Nellie Pou is nervously trying to lie about Republicans to pass blame about the government shutdown SHE voted for.

Pou is falsely claiming Republicans’ funding bill “will raise your health care costs.” The the truth is, it’s Nellie who is jeopardizing safety, access to care, and paychecks for her constituents:

• Threatening families’ safety due to law enforcement officers, members of the military, and TSA workers may be forced to work without pay.
• Blocking 10,959 veterans from accessing critical programs, including employment assistance.
• Forcing  5,995 federal workers in NJ-09 to work without pay.
• Jeopardizing millions in loan financing for the state’s 1.1 million small businesses.
• Limiting access to financial assistance, including disaster relief, for NJ-09’s 44 farmers.
• Endangering funding for the Head Start program that serves 8,505 children in New Jersey.
