Ruiz Voted to Cut Off Food Stamps

Out of touch Democrat Raul Ruiz shut down the government, turning their back on moms, dads, and Californians trying to feed their families.  

By forcing a shutdown, Ruiz jeopardized funding for food stamps and other food assistance programs, like WIC and SNAP, making it harder for Californians to put food on the table and support their families. 

Bottom Line: 1,039,697 Californians could be going hungry because of Ruiz’s vote.
