ICYMI: Dunlap is in, Golden’s on his way out.

In case you missed it, Democrat Matt Dunlap is challenging Jared Golden to a primary, making it clear as ever that both sides of the aisle are done with Golden.

The writing’s been on the wall for Golden for months:

• A recent poll shows Dunlap within just two points of Golden in a Democrat primary
• Golden’s image is the worst it’s EVER been, sitting at just 46% favorable
• 76% of Maine Democrat voters feel that Golden is NOT doing enough to stand up to Donald Trump
• When Matt Dunlap ran for Senate in 2012, he successfully won ME-02
• And if Golden somehow manages to make it to the general election, two polls already show Golden losing to Republican Paul LePage
