Nellie Pou’s Political Games Cost New Jersey Millions
It has officially been one week of the government shutdown and New Jerseyans are feeling the pressure.
Each week, New Jerseyans are losing $440 million in Gross State Product, about $86 million worth of small business loans are getting held up, and over 50,000 workers are furloughed or working without pay.
This must end, but Nellie Pou does not care. She voted for this shut down rather than continuing to fund the government and now she’s placing blame everywhere but on herself.
“Nellie Pou is shameful. She voted to shut down the government and, in turn, is hurting New Jerseyans. It is high time she stops playing political games with peoples’ livelihoods and works to put New Jerseyans first.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Maureen O’Toole
