Titus, Lee & Horsford’s Shutdown Hurts Nevada’s Economy
It has officially been one week of the government shutdown and Nevadans are feeling the pressure.
Each week, Nevadans are losing $140 million in Gross State Product, about $39 million worth of small business loans are getting held up, and over 22,000 workers are furloughed or working without pay. This must end but Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford do not care. They voted for this shut down rather than continuing to fund the government and now they’re placing blame everywhere but on themselves.
“Dina Titus, Susie Lee, and Steven Horsford are shameful. They voted to shut down the government and, in turn, are hurting Nevadans. It is high time they stop playing political games with peoples’ livelihoods and work to put Nevadans first.” – NRCC Spokesman Christian Martinez
