Suozzi & Gillen’s shutdown threaten NY food supply

When Tom Suozzi and Laura Gillen voted to shut down our government, they also voted to hurt our food and agricultural supply. Recent reports show that farmers are growing increasingly concerned that the government shutdown will impede their ability to harvest. 

From the ability to plan longterm, to the access to important information from government resources like FSA, farmers are getting left out in the cold while trying to not only provide for their own families but everyone else’s family as well.
