Out of touch Democrat Gabe Vasquez’s shutdown is a gut punch to seniors. By voting to close the government, Vasquez is risking delays in Medicare help and Social Security services, piling stress onto people who rely on them every single day. 

A new report warns seniors in New Mexico could even see delays in their Social Security cost-of-living adjustment, leaving less money for groceries, gas, and prescriptions.
