For two full weeks, servicemembers, police, and Border Patrol agents have faced uncertainty thanks to Jared Golden’s party’s reckless shutdown. Republicans passed a plan to keep them paid; Democrats blocked it. Only President Trump’s action ensured our troops weren’t collateral damage.
