Mainers: Open the Government. Golden’s Dems: Keep It Closed.

New polling shows voters in Maine back Republicans’ plan to reopen the government. 60% of voters support getting paychecks flowing and services running again before considering any healthcare negotiations. Yet, out of touch Jared Golden’s Democrats have doubled down on their vote to shut down the government.

While families worry about troops missing pay and TSA and air traffic controllers working without pay, Golden’s party is refusing to focus on what voters actually want: relief from the cost of living and real economic issues, not manufactured shutdown chaos.
