New polling shows voters in Michigan back Republicans’ plan to reopen the government. 60% of voters support getting paychecks flowing and services running again before considering any healthcare negotiations. Yet, out of touch Democrat Kristen McDonald Rivet has doubled down on her vote to shut down the government.

While families worry about troops missing pay and TSA and air traffic controllers working without pay, McDonald Rivet is siding with Washington Democrats instead of focusing on what voters actually want: relief from the cost of living and real economic issues, not manufactured shutdown chaos.
